Apprenticeship Reboot Subsidy Extended Once More

Recently TEC announced that all trainees with a commencement date before 31 December 2014, who are enrolled into a reboot eligible programme, will be able to apply to TEC for funding under the Apprenticeship Reboot Scheme.

This is a further extension of six months to the eligibility commencement date.. Employers - If you want to secure $2,000 towards your company’s apprentice training expenses and $2,000 helpful assistance for your new apprentice to purchase tools or pay for training - now’s the time to sign up your apprentice! Get in now while this offer is still available.

This is the third time the Government has extended this offer and we doubt that it will be extended again.

Note that these grants are being offered by the Government, not the BCITO. All grant applications are subject to the conditions set out by the Tertiary Education Commission. For more information about the Apprenticeship Reboot Subsidy and to view TEC’s conditions see TEC’s Reboot Subsidy Info or contact your Training Advisor for full details of the subsidy.
