Glass & Glazing Apprentice Awards 2016

Celebrating excellence.

The Window Association of New Zealand (WANZ) and Glass Association of New Zealand (GANZ) held their combined industry Awards Gala at the Crowne Plaza Auckland on 17 June.

This was a spectacular event which showcased the talent and passion in  the Glass & Glazing industry. Along with BCITO they celebrated the achievement of the most promising apprentices.

Glass & Glazing Most Promising Apprentice of the Year 2016:

Asher Takao employed by Gisborne Glass Limited

Stu Smith, Asher's employer says Asher is a great asset to the industry and he's encouraging him to spread his wings and gain further knowledge.

Asher is also one of BCITO's Outward Bound Scholarship recipients and he flew back from Anakiwa for the Awards presentation on the Friday before the event - then flew back to the Sounds first thing the following morning.
