In a stunning setting, surrounded by fantastic people from the industry, three remarkable young men were selected as finalists for the Apprentice Awards generously sponsored by Resene.
Together with their partners they were flown to Fiji to celebrate their high achievement.
Tables were beautifully set out on the beachfront, setting the scene for a fantastic awards evening. Throughout the conference, it was particularly impressive how Jake Bugg of Shalders Decorating Ltd, Steven Steiner of Tradesmen Group Ltd and Sean van der Busse of David Joblin Painting Ltd and their partners enjoyed meeting each other and discovered they had much in common through their shared passion for the industry.
They fully participated in the programme and all activities and relished every moment of this great opportunity.
Congratulations to the overall winner Steven Steiner.
All three apprentices made a speech and expressed gratitude to numerous people including their employers who have ensured they have received great training, Resene for its generosity as sponsor, BCITO and their BCITO Training Advisors.
