Jackie Nixey

Jackie was welcomed to BCITO’s Senior Leadership Team in March 2022. She has 20 years of experience in Human Resources, working across government and private sectors. Holding a Commerce Degree with a double major in Business and Human Resources & Industrial Relations from Victoria University, Jackie knows that passion for work brings a sense of belonging, and employees understand how important their role is to the direction and purpose of the organisation.

As Group Manager People & Culture, Jackie is responsible for aligning BCITO’s people and culture strategy with business strategy to support our tāngata to achieve the organisation’s strategic priorities. Jackie believes that the success of an organisation comes from its kaimahi who feel valued and engaged, and she is proud to be part of an organisation that truly puts its people first.
