How long it takes

The National Certificate in Concrete Production Level 3 typically takes 14 months to complete.

How much it costs

The first year start-up fee for concrete production is $1,105, and each year after that there is an additional annual fee of $790. Read more about fees and payment.

What you'll learn

You will gain the skills required in the concrete production area of the construction industry.

The compulsory section of this qualification covers:

  • health & safety
  • concrete industry practice 
  • concrete materials 
  • use and maintenance of equipment associated with concrete production 
  • handling orders and production and ready-mixed concrete 
  • testing concrete.

The optional section of this qualification covers:

  • confined spaces (this may or may not be required, depending on your workplace).
