Baz always dreamed of becoming a builder. Now, as a BCITO qualified carpentry apprentice, he is leading the way for other Deaf apprentices.

External Support
Deaf Aotearoa
Deaf Aotearoa delivers flexible and responsive services which accommodates the Deaf community’s needs. They provide knowledge, information, resources and skills.
Altogether Autism
Altogether Autism provides free autism information and advice. They offer personalised autism advice, an annual Journal publication, and evidence-based information backed by both research and lived experience.
Dyspraxia NZ
This parent-initiated, voluntary support group which provides unique help, support and information.
ADHD
They are the largest and longest-standing non-profit organisation committed to supporting those living with ADHD in New Zealand. Their community of 50,000 plus provides expert help and support.
Dyslexia Foundation NZ
DFNZ’s mission is to facilitate recognition, understanding and action for those with dyslexia. Putting the power in the hands of people, providing information and resources to navigate the challenges and opportunities that dyslexia brings.
