What you'll learn

You’ll gain the knowledge and skills to become a qualified supervisor in the building and construction industry. The programme covers:

Operational Supervision Skills

• Plan, monitor and evaluate a work programme.
• Lead quality assurance and compliance activities.

Social, Economic and Environmental Sustainability Practices

• Lead sustainable worksite practices as a supervisor

Supervisory Leadership Skills

• Lead, monitor and support team performance.
• Promote and support the team’s wellbeing.
• Manage interpersonal conflict.

Technical Supervision

• Provide accurate and timely technical supervision (based on the strand you choose).

Choose a strand

To enrol in the programme, you must choose one of the following strands from the qualification. The strand needs to relate to your workplace and your technical knowledge and skills.

• Commercial Construction
• Construction Related Manufacturing
• Construction Related Trades
• Residential Building.
