Celebrating Success: Apprentice Graduation in Hastings

On Friday 22 May, around 40 BCITO apprentices from across Hawke's Bay gathered at Events on Hastings to celebrate the completion of their qualifications.

Apprenticeships remain deeply embedded in the region, with several long-standing companies reaching impressive milestones, some having now completed more than 20, 30, 40, and even 50 graduates through their businesses.

Achieving these qualifications reflects significant dedication and commitment, but the evening was about far more than presenting certificates. It provided an opportunity to recognise each graduate's unique journey, the challenges they've overcome, the skills they've honed, and the people they've become.

Showcasing their work on screen highlighted the exceptional level of craftsmanship within today's tradies, reinforcing confidence that the industry is in capable hands.

We are hugely proud to celebrate the achievements and mahi of all our graduates, and it's clear there are very promising futures ahead.
