Celebrating Success at the Lower Hutt Graduation

On 13 November, Lower Hutt Town Hall hosted a memorable graduation ceremony recognising the achievements of approximately 150 apprentices across a wide range of trades.

With around 650–700 people in attendance, the event brought together graduates, employers, whānau, and supporters to acknowledge the dedication and hard work that led each apprentice to this milestone.

Hon Chris Bishop, Minister for Housing, joined the celebration and took part in presenting certificates to graduates, helping mark the occasion as a significant moment for everyone involved.

The ceremony served as a proud reminder of the impact skilled tradespeople make in shaping New Zealand’s future — and the strong support system behind every qualified apprentice.
