Participation in the Gateway Drivers Licence Initiative is open to any New Zealand High School student who signs up into the BCITO Gateway programme in 2024.
Each student is eligible for one voucher per year, corresponding to their eligibility within the program.
The Gateway Initiative operates with limited funding. As a result, benefits are subject to availability and may be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Upon confirmation of eligibility, BCITO will provide the respective student with a form to fill out. Once filled out the form VTNZ will contact them directly to book them in.
The benefits offered under the Gateway Initiative may include full, learner's, or restricted license payment.
Each student is eligible for one benefit per year, regardless of their eligibility for multiple benefits.
Benefits received under the Gateway Initiative are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of compensation.
BCITO reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Gateway Initiative or any aspect thereof, at its sole discretion, without prior notice.
All participants must comply with the terms and conditions of the Gateway Initiative and any relevant laws and regulation.
BCITO is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during training or participation in the Gateway Initiative. Participants assume all associated risks and agree to release BCITO from any claims or liabilities arising from such incidents.
By accepting the voucher, participants consent to VTNZ sharing their results with BCITO for reporting purposes.
By accepting the voucher participants consent to BCITO sharing their details with VTNZ.
By participating in the Gateway Initiative, all participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. BCITO reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions, as determined by BCITO in its sole discretion.
