Introducing Helen Hines-Randall

The Floor &Wall Tiling industry now has another passionate voice in its corner. Helen Hines-Randall, who has previous experience working with the industry, has just been appointed as Industry Advocate for Floor & Wall Tiling.  As an Industry Advocate, Helen will work closely with industry representatives and is responsible for ensuring the Floor & Wall Tiling industry’s training needs are being heard within BCITO.

“I am excited about advocating for the Floor & Wall Tiling industry and do have some familiarity with the profession. A few years after I joined BCITO in 2008, as a Senior Project Manager in the Qualifications team, I had the pleasure of reviewing the then National Certificate in Floor & Wall Tiling. I learned a lot and look forward to learning much more.”

Since joining the team of BCITO Industry Advocates in 2015, Helen has represented Carpentry, Frame & Truss, Interior Construction, Resin Flooring, Brick & Block Laying and Architectural Aluminium Joinery. “I have built up a lot of experience working with different industries and am looking forward to re-engaging with the Tiling sector”.

“Being an Industry Advocate involves engaging with the industry and building trusted relationships with employers, stakeholders and trade associations. I love the variety and the challenge of working together to solve complex problems.”
