Have you heard? - the NAWIC Excellence awards 2022 in conjunction with Naylor Love are happening and are open for nominations right now!

Our industry, and the people in it, have faced huge challenges during the past year with the COVID–19 pandemic, supply issues and an ongoing skills shortage. Now more than ever, it is important to celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of women in construction, as they continue to step up to the challenges and beyond.

The Excellence Awards are set to celebrate women at all career levels and all sectors within the construction industry. NAWIC invite nominations and entries from women from across the sector, both members, and non-members.

Awards categories in 2022 are:

• Helen Tippett Award
• Tradeswoman of the Year
• Outstanding Leader of the Year
• Rising Star
• Excellence in Construction Administration
• Outstanding Achievement in Design
• Student or Apprentice Excellence Award

IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE NAWIC EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2022

9 March 2022 Entries close 5 pm.

13 April 2022 Judging Day, by phone interview.

8 May 2022 Notification of Finalists.

1 July 2022 Awards Presentation Event held at the Te Papa – Wellington.
