Preparing for the new Covid Protection Framework

New Zealand moves to the new COVID Protection Framework (traffic light system) on Friday 3 December.

To help businesses in the construction industry prepare for the new requirements, CHASNZ has developed a suite of tools and guidance. You can preview the NEW‍ Protection Framework for the Construction Industry at the CHASNZ website.

View the Traffic light map here, or get further valuable information about working environments and COVID-19 from CHASNZ.

BCITO, a business division of Te Pūkenga Work Based Learning (WBL), is developing protocols for working in the new Protection Framework which will align to Te Pūkenga policy. As you can imagine there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to get this finalised and we expect to be able to provide details of how we will work at Red, Orange and Green shortly.
