We are delighted to announce that last Thursday night BCITO was awarded Best Not For Profit Marketing Campaign at the TVNZ Marketing Awards, for the 2016 BCITO Not Your Average Shed promotion.
This definitely came as a nice surprise, as we were up against stiff competition.
BCITO's marketing work has been highly acclaimed due to the staggering results that were achieved. BCITO messages reached millions of people, and over 600,000 watched our Not Your Average Shed videos in 2016.
It took a huge team effort to pull this off. Thanks goes to the BCITO area teams and managers who got behind the initiative, manning BBQs and supporting the team on site at Sylvia Park. We'd also like to congratulate and thank our partners in the campaign - Acumen PR, Brand Spanking, Cansino & Co, CMB Marketing, Licensed Renovations and Uprise Digital.
The hard work has certainly paid off.
The Government’s free fees initiative looks set to help alleviate some of the skills shortages in the building and construction industry, with some new apprentices eligible for two years of free training from 2018.
