Industry training numbers have never been so high. On Friday 13 November active learners with BCITO tallied 16,083. The number of Kitchen Designers training in quarter three 2020 is up 67% on the previous year.
Suzie Rees of NKBA says, "If you're currently studying or thinking about the NZ Diploma in Design Level 5, then there has never been a better time than now to enrol. As our members know the NKBA advocates for education, applauds professional self-development and wants to ensure our community is aware of all learning benefits, and this includes the governments No Fees funding. And the great news is, the NZ Diploma in Design qualifies for No Fees."
Since the launch of No Fees funding, from 1 July through to 30 October 4,833 learners have enrolled to study with BCITO (being the industry training organisation responsible for the NZ Diploma in Design).
The No Fees campaign ends on 31 December 2022. It makes good business sense to enrol yourself or your designers into a 2021 course. Training is an investment in your business and people. A high level of skills and knowledge is key to retention, and a motivated and engaged team that design better and beautiful kitchens.
Enrolments are now open for the 2021 course calendar. To chat about this and find out more, call BCITO 0800 422 386 or NKBA 03 322 1957.
The Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO) has set a record of 16,000 apprentices in training.
