English Language Partners
An online, intermediate level, 6-week course where apprentices can build their English speaking, listening, writing and reading skills specific to building and construction terminology.
This is free for all BCITO apprentices - it’s funded by the BCITO Learning Success team.
What it is
For beginners we can refer them to a local English Language Partners centre, where they can join general English language classes. They also offer 1:1 home tuition with a volunteer, as often as needed, as an alternative to lessons.
Who it's for
Anyone who is learning English as a language, and is struggling to communicate or understand English in their work or study.
What they’ll get
They’ll gain confidence in using English, particularly for working and learning in building and construction if they decide to take that specific course.
