One of the biggest expenses for students getting into an apprenticeship is the cost of tools. To help offset these costs for new apprentices who have previously engaged with us through the myBCITO platform or the BCATS programme, we are offering thirty (30) myBCITO Tools Grants.
This grant is offered to employers who are actively training BCITO apprentices.
We believe this support will help employers run successful long-term businesses, better placing them to provide ongoing investment in training and employment within New Zealand's building industry.
BCITO wishes to offer support individuals from groups currently underrepresented in the construction trades, assisting them in undertaking a BCITO apprenticeship in a National Certificate, New Zealand Certificate or a Supervisor qualification.
