Celebrating Apprentice Excellence

BCITO was proud to once again partner with the Window & Glass Association of New Zealand to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Architectural Aluminium Joinery and Glass & Glazing apprentices at the 2026 WGANZ Gala Awards Dinner, held at Te Pae Convention Centre in Christchurch

The evening highlighted the exceptional calibre of apprentices across the industry, with finalists delivering impressive submissions and demonstrating professionalism, insight, and dedication throughout the judging process.

This year’s award winners stood out not only for their technical ability and commitment to their trade, but also for the quality of their presentations and interviews. On the night, each winner delivered fantastic acceptance speeches, taking the opportunity to acknowledge the strong support networks behind them. In particular, heartfelt thanks were given to their employers, team mates, families tutors and Training Advisors, whose guidance and encouragement have played a key role in their development and success.
