When we caught up with Charmaine Farquhar after receiving her Apprentice of the Year award and Allan Sage Memorial award last year, we asked what winning the award meant to her.

She said, "It is an absolute privilege to have won this award. It’s a reflection of the hard work I have put in over these past four years and shows the development of my skills and technical knowledge. It has also boosted my confidence as I always knew I was a good glazier but had doubts of my skill level. It has also proven to me that if I put my mind towards something I can accomplish it as I set a goal to win this award my first year as an apprentice”.
